Description for Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)
The diplomatic relations between Thailand and the United Arab Emirates were officially established on December 12, 1975, leading to a significant milestone with the opening of the UAE Embassy in Bangkok in April 1998. For over five decades, the embassy has served as a strategic hub for fostering robust cooperation, particularly in energy—where the UAE remains Thailand's top trading partner in the Middle East—as well as in medical tourism and cultural exchange. As the two nations enter their sixth decade of friendship, the embassy continues to be a vital bridge, strengthening bilateral ties and safeguarding the mutual interests of their citizens in an ever-evolving global landscape.
