The Islamic Bank of Thailand (iBank) is an interest-free bank based on the principle of mutual profit and loss. It is a state enterprise under the Ministry of Finance and operates under the Islamic Bank of Thailand Act of 2002. It has a religious advisory committee to provide guidance and oversight to ensure that the bank operates correctly according to Islamic principles.[3]
