Description for Darul Na'eem Mosque
Darul Na'eem Mosque was first constructed around 1851. The community of Ban Chado consulted with each other about the need for a place to perform religious duties, receive religious education, and participate in activities commemorating important religious holidays. They built the mosque on land donated by Toki Phung Phunglae. It was a single-story wooden building with a thatched roof, measuring 8 meters wide and 10 meters long. Toki Phung Phunglae was appointed as the first Imam, while the Khatib and Bilal assisted in the role. There were approximately 50 families and over 100 congregations. Around 1911, the original mosque building was renovated, with the thatched roof replaced with corrugated iron and the floor paved with concrete. By 1941, the mosque building had deteriorated due to age and the increasing number of congregations. The mosque's administrative committee therefore met and decided to construct a new mosque building. The original mosque was a concrete building measuring 8.5 meters wide and 22 meters long. It was legally registered under registration number 78, dated December 26, 1952. Due to the increasing number of congregants, the mosque was expanded from its original size to 12 meters wide and 38 meters long. Currently, with the growing number of congregants, the mosque's administrative committee has discussed and decided to add a multi-purpose building (suto) to the east of the mosque building for use in mosque and community activities.
